This is an Artist Trading Card (ATC) that I created for the Diemond Dies' Design Team Call. The background is a couple different mixed media techniques, mod podging tissue paper with lots of wrinkles in it and then stamping on top of it. Then I used some Shimmerz Texturez to add even more texture and then some gray gesso is added in there too. I used some corrugated cardboard to add some texture and then I used the Tim Holtz Tattered Banners Die and Bat & Skull dies for my embellishments. On the bat I covered it with haematite Inka Gold, buffed it and then adhered it with 3-D Dots. The skull I gessoed, colored it with my Faber Castell Big Brush Pens and then used some Shimmerz Texturez to put the "cracks" on it. This is one of my favorite ATCs that I have ever made. I hope you enjoyed it too!! Happy Crafting!!!!

HI Kerri-Jo,
ReplyDeleteI believe you left a comment on my Youtube video asking where you can find a Matchbox die? I still have my die and am happy to sell it to you. If you are still interested, please email me directly at: terri@nutzaboutstamping.com.

KerriJo, thanks so much for the tutorials on the album ....I have started mine but I am doing it a bit different doing the pages then the mats ....but I am struggling a bit with the measurements on the mats....I am on page 3 of 12....would you be able to provide me with the basic measurements of the photo mats? My email is msanchez158@stx.rr.com. Thanks so much. Maria
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten into making the mats yet, and I'm currently in the states on vacation visiting family so I don't have my measurements :( If you are using the photo edge punch like I showed in a video then you need to make the mat 3/8" bigger than the photo. Then I just use a piece of kraft cardstock as a backing and I'm sorry but I don't remember my measurements for those right off hand :( I will be doing the video with the photo mats once I get back to Germany in about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. I'm sorry, I tried to get it done before I left, but there just wasn't enough time.
